Terms of Service
This document applies to ventospt.com and to the services provided by Ventos Arqueáveis Unipessoal Lda.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of ventospt.com and, where no separate signed agreement applies, the Ventos Arqueáveis platform. Where a client has signed a master services agreement, that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
The Service
Ventos Arqueáveis Unipessoal Lda provides software for contract lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, matter management and legal analytics, together with implementation and support services. Access is granted per named user for the term and plan agreed in the order.
Not Legal Advice
The platform is a tool for qualified professionals. Its output — including risk scores, extracted terms and predicted outcomes — is not legal advice and must be reviewed by a competent person before it is relied on. Nothing on this site creates a lawyer-client relationship.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the service in breach of applicable law or a third party's rights;
- upload content you are not permitted to disclose to us;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to another tenant's data;
- resell, sublicense or benchmark the service without our written consent;
- circumvent usage limits or security controls.
Your Data
You keep all rights in the content you upload. We process it only to provide the service and on your documented instructions, as set out in the Privacy Policy and the data processing agreement. We do not use client content to train models that serve other clients.
Availability and Support
We aim for continuous availability and publish planned maintenance in advance. Where a plan or agreement includes a service level, the response and resolution targets in that document apply. Free trials and pilots are provided without a service level.
Fees
Fees are those stated in the order or on the pricing page, exclusive of VAT, and are invoiced in euros with 30-day payment terms. We may revise prices at renewal with at least 60 days' notice.
Liability
Neither party excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Portuguese law. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable in that period.
Term and Termination
Subscriptions run for the term stated in the order and renew unless either party gives notice before the renewal date. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of written notice. On termination we return or delete client data within 30 days, on request.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. The courts of Viana do Castelo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply where you live.
